Formed a mixed professional partnership with Amec Foster Wheeler (AFWAPFC) based in Al Khobar to offering consultancy, Engineering and Project Management services in Saudi Arabia.

Opened its regional offices in Jeddah, Riyadh and Abha and representation offices in India and Philippines. SEGI became one of the largest Engineering and PMC Consultants in Saudi Arabia.
2002
Established a Specialized Engineering firm based in Dammam to provide detailed Engineering Services, Project Management, Construction Management and Site Supervision, Engineering Support Services and CAD services to the Power Sector.
2001
Formed a Saudi professional partnership - SOFCON based in Al Khobar to offer highly Specialized Engineering Services in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical fields and became one of the top-rated Saudi Aramco approved General Engineering Services (GES) companies.
1992
Saudi Engineering Group International (SEGI) became an approved General Engineering Services contractor of Saudi Aramco offering Consultancy Services in upstream and downstream oil explorations projects and formed joint ventures with International Engineering firms as capability partner to reach more than 600 multi-discipline Engineers.
1990
Entered the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical sector. The company has rebranded to what it is known today as Saudi Engineering Group International (SEGI). SEGI evolved into a multidiscipline engineering capability and acquired local companies to further grow its services and provided its services to Saudi Aramco.
1986
Ventured into the industrial sectors undertaking industrial expansion projects in Saudi Arabia and development into a General Engineering Service (GES) consultant in industrial infrastructure projects in the Eastern Province.
1983
Selected as a consultant of the Dammam, Saihat and Qatif municipalities and became deeply involved in Urban Development, Town Planning, Housing and Constructions of Roads and Bridges. Saihati Engineering and Consultants acted as approving authority on behalf of the municipality for the construction of government buildings, schools and other commercial projects.
1978
Saihati Engineering & Consultants was founded in 1978 and established its office in Seiko Building in the heart of Dammam to support communities in Eastern Province to build their residential villas and other commercial building needs.
